The core saw is built on a portable, compact trailer measuring 13-in (348-cm) long and 69-in (175-cm) wide for ease of jobsite access and can be towed with a half-ton pickup truck.
The CS418B features an onboard water tank to cool the saw bit.
Core sawing creates minimal disruption to traffic, minimal manual labor and preserves the road integrity when compared to saw cutting.
The Vermeer CS418B core saw is designed to cut 4-in to 18-in (10-cm - 46-cm) diameter holes in hard surfaces, like asphalt and concrete, to help utility contractors locate and excavate underground utilities.
Features may include:
Pivot base
Telescoping and extendable arm allows for infinite positioning of the bit.
Mast with depth gauge
Bit travel range of 24 in (61 cm) of vertical movement. Keep track of jobsite progress with depth gauge.
Proven power
Kohler 25 hp EFI engine for optimum fuel efficiency, reliability, starting dependibility and featuring a heavy-duty air cleaner.
Control panel
Allows for infinite hydraulic control of bit speed, rotation and travel. Two hydraulic gauges show the operator the downforce pressure and bit rotations per minute. The dual-speed motor allows for a wide speed range supporting various bit diameters and surface conditions.
Leveling jacks
Dual jacks allow for vertical placement of bit featuring a level located on the front of the machine for precise positioning.
