- The turbocharged ATAAC Caterpillar® C13 ACERT Tier 3 or available Tier 4 Final electronic engine allows operators to penetrate rock more effectively with less wear due to its low-speed, high-torque, splined headshaft motor
Features may include:
Elevated operator visibility and comfort- The elevating rollover protective module cab features LEXAN glass, filtered and pressurized air, heating and air-conditioning. The cab’s vantage point allows an optimal view of the boom, trench and conveyor.
- A rotary power trencher drive motor and splined headshaft produce a low speed and high torque which provide maximum ground penetration and low chain wear for optimal production results.
- SmartTEC performance monitoring assists operators with adjustments to machine controls to help improve efficiency and tracks the operational performance of the machine on a consistent platform across all machine models.
