The T1155 Commander® 3 trencher is the perfect trenching machine to penetrate rock. It’s the ideal combination of heavy-duty construction, 540 hp (403 kW) from the turbocharged Caterpillar C15 ACERT Tier 3 or Tier 4 Final engine and sophisticated electronics.

  • Keep your construction site running smoothly with the exclusive Vermeer SmartTEC computer-aided control system.
Standard remote
  • Decrease trencher teeth inspection and replacement maintenance time through an standard remote control that can start or stop the engine, raise or lower the trencher boom and rotate chain at a slow speed.
Elevated cab
  • Enhance productivity with an elevated cab providing a better view of the boom, trench and conveyor.
Rotary power trencher drive motor
  • A rotary power trencher drive motor and splined headshaft produce a lower speed and higher torque which provide superior ground penetration and low chain wear for better production results.
