2024 Vermeer® Vacuum Excavators ECO50

2024 Vermeer® Vacuum Excavators ECO50

This powerful and productive third-generation vac has a modular design that allows for quick trailer or truck mounting.

The ECO50 series is a powerful and productive vacuum excavator, equipped with a 4-in (10.2-cm) suction hose and 1,025-cfm (29-m³/min) blower. It is extremely useful for production pothole applications and drill fluid management. This third-generation Vermeer vacuum excavator features a 49-hp (36.5-kW) Tier 4 Final Kubota diesel engine and has a modular design allowing it to be skid- or truck-mounted.

Features may include:

Economical operation
  • Delivers fuel savings and has minimized maintenance costs compared to truck engine services. Offers the versatility to mount on new or used truck chassis or on off-road crawler carriers.
Cam-over rear door
  • Provides a 360-degree positive seal, even under reverse pressure without additional clamping requirements. The highly reliable cam-over door has no in-tank moving parts, so all maintenance is external.
Three-stage cyclonic filtration
  • Engineered to help prolong filter and blower life, the system is suitable for wet and dry applications. The cyclones use a tuned vortex system in which the outer vortex spiral forces small particles to fall into a separate canister. The filtered stream then passes up through the inner cyclone tube and is carried to the final poly filter.
In-tank washdown
  • Delivers a high-pressure water spray to the tank interior, helping to simultaneously dump material and clean the inside of the tank. Minimizes cleanup time and helps remove difficult debris.
Auto-belt tensioners
  • Keeps proper belt tensions at all times and helps extend belt life.
Hydraulic boom (option)
  • Exclusive telescoping boom maintains hose length during extension and incorporates a remote-controlled hydraulic valve for vacuum shutoff. Available with manual or hydraulic rotation.
